Is a person who does not eat meat peculiar or wise?
My mother told me that when I was a baby I refused to eat any kind of meat. She thought – as many mothers do – that I needed meat to make me grow, so she persisted in giving it to me until I acquired a liking for it. For the past fifty years I have chosen diet that does not include flesh, fish or fowl.
In my practice of medicine I have always told my patients the reason for what I asked them to do. Ingredients- 1 1/2 cups raw cashews, soaked, 1/4 cup water, 2 t lemon juice, 2 cloves garlic, chopped, 1/2 t celtic sea salt.
Directions- Blend all ingredients very well, scraping the sides. Add a little water if needed and blend again. This cheese sauce will thicken after a bit.
Ingredients- 1 cup water, 3/4 cup raw almonds “Soaked for 6-8 Hours”, 1 t celtic sea salt, 2 t onion powder, 1 t garlic powder, 1/2 cup pimentos, 2 T lemon juice.
Directions- Blend on high until smooth. Note: This cheese sauce is awesome when added to some whole wheat elbow macaroni noodles for Macaroni and Cheese!
1 cup raw sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup carob powder
1 tbpsn baking powder
pinch of salt
1 cup of tofu – blended
1/2 cup oil
1 tblspn vanilla
handful coconut and nuts
bake for 20 minutes
